PDFResumen
ABSTRACT
The gastrointestinal microbiome is the set of genes of microscopic organisms present in humans; the microbiota is considered an intestinal ecosystem since it is composed of microorganisms that produce thousands of metabolites that help significantly in the gastrointestinal physiology. This own universe that lives inside the organism can be affected by the CNS depending on various factors such as stress, the text focuses mainly on describing the interaction between the normal intestinal microbiota and the state of emotional stress. For this, it was based on thirty-one (31) scientific articles found in academic databases such as: ResearchGate, Scielo, ScienceDirect and Elsevier. All these from different authors. Where it is argued how emotional stress changes the intestinal microbiota, causing a transient or permanent dysfunction.
