PDFResumen
ABSTRACT
The interest in improving the teaching-learning process in university education has given rise to the constant search for new strategies, methods and approaches that favor the educational process. Within this search, the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach has aroused interest in the field of higher education, especially in the medical sciences, in recent decades. Seventeen bibliographies were consulted using the Google search engine. The aim of the study was to provide a theoretical basis for the usefulness of Problem-Based Learning in medical students and specifically in Anatomic Pathology. It was concluded that linking PBL to medical sciences will contribute to the use of the clinical method and to the development of scientific thinking, which will favor the performance of students as future physicians.
